Several months ago I developed extremely painful tennis elbow during playoffs. I had pain radiating from my elbow into my right hand and also to my shoulder and neck. I needed to find relief as quickly as possible to keep playing. I had just recently heard that Dr. Danyo had become certified in acupuncture. I decided to give it a try because of how severe the pain was. Dr. Danyo applied several relatively painless acupuncture approaches until I had relief from my pain. Incredibly, when I left his office about an hour later, I had nearly 100% improvement. I expected the pain to come right back over the weekend while playing a tennis tournament but it never did. Thanks for keeping me in the game Dr. Danyo!

Medical Acupuncture

Medical acupuncture, performed by Dr. Danyo, combines the modern knowledge of disease, neuromuscular anatomy and pain chemistry with classical Chinese acupuncture. It is believed to affect the central nervous system by releasing chemicals and hormones that influence our body’s regulation of muscles, organs and nerves.

As a physician specializing in pain management, Dr. Danyo uses his expertise to combine acupuncture with Western medical treatment techniques such as spinal injections and nerve blocks. It is performed in a safe and comfortable medical environment and is often a simple, painless and effective part of a patient’s overall pain management and wellness plan.
